Jeff Day

Theatre & Cinema Performance Program Coordinator, Assistant Professor of Theatre & Cinema Performance and Worship Arts

Besides being a USTA level 4.0 tennis player and an avid scuba diver, Day is a long-tim Screen Actors Guild member and holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Utah in conjunction with Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute.

Day has appeared in numerous regional and national commercials and has appeared on stage in forty-six states. In addition, he has directed and/or written films, plays, and musicals in every genre. He has presented acting and screenwriting workshops in New York, Utah, Florida, Ohio, and Tennessee. Day is always looking for and creating new ways to engage his students, offering them unique experiences, and nurturing their creativity

Day and his wife Julie and their twin children, Hunter and Lauren, love to watch movies. They cherish those eventing when they cuddle on the couch as a family. Also, Hunter and Lauren keep the Day’s busy with dance classes, national competitions, soccer, baseball, and Mario Party 6. They are also involved in their local church, singing on the praise team and working on drama productions.
