Film Soundstage & TV Studio

The West Studio, a 6,200 square foot film soundstage/television studio facility, is soundproof, can be used with the HD trailer for multi-camera productions, and is perfect for single camera film productions. The studio includes a 60’x20’ green screen for special effects and a full lighting system with a complete grid that can be walked on to adjust lights. The facility comes equipped with four cameras, two jibs, and a teleprompter. Additional equipment such as dollies and a Steadicam are available for productions. Double garage doors are provided to allow a vehicle to be driven into the facility for productions. A variety of sets are in the studio including a large interview set donated by Japanese broadcaster NHK (used at the Olympics), backdrops from Anchorman 1 and Kate & Leopold, and the captain’s stateroom from The Chronicles of Narnia: Dawntreader. An adjoining room features a space ship set that includes multiple flight cockpits, a bunk area, and weapons area that were designed to be used for student’s sci-fi film and television productions. Nearby are furniture, prop and costume rooms to decorate the sets. The facility also shares a green room and dressing rooms with the drama theatre.
