Construction update Jan. 21, 2010
WILMORE, KY—The project is still on schedule as the steel structure and roof decking are in place for the back half of the building. Crews have also placed under-slab electric and plumbing infrastructure.
Steel for the front half of the building is expected to arrive this week and crews will begin pouring the concrete floors in the lower back half within the next two weeks.
Within 2-4 weeks, masons will construct a 16ft. × 10ft. wall section called a mock-up wall panel. This wall will have pieces of stone, brick, metal and decorative masonry work. It will serve as an example for the owner of the building to see how all of the colors fit together before the finished building is erected, and it will also set the standard for the remaining masonry work.
