Construction begins on Andrew S. Miller Center

The ink on the contract was barely dry when D.W. Wilburn, Inc., construction crews started work on the new Andrew S. Miller Center for Communication Arts.

On Monday, Sept. 14 as Doug Wilburn promised, crews began moving earth at the construction site. According to Randy Richardson, director of capital projects and construction for the College, crews are mobilizing the site and stripping the soils in preparation for construction.

Students, faculty and staff will see more activity in the coming weeks as construction teams begin installing utilities and laying the foundation for the facility. Alumni and friends can watch the construction live on http://www.asbury.edu/buildingwindows/gallery/webcam.
