What We're Building
We are excited to offer our students this cutting-edge learning environment where Communications, Media Communication, Journalism, and Theatre and Cinema Performance students work together in one place, mirroring the convergence of these fields in the real world. The campus newspaper, radio, television and online student news organizations will collectively work in the same “news bureau.” The proximity of students from different disciplines encourages more collaboration on projects and all Communication Arts majors will share equipment and facilities. Faculty, who are now located in five buildings, will have the opportunity to work together in the same building, encouraging more collaboration.
