Prospective Women’s Basketball Player:

It’s great to know of your interest in our women’s basketball program and our College. I’d like to take this opportunity to give you some more information about our program.

We are a program moving in the right direction with some resources for athletic scholarships. We compete in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference as a NAIA Division II school. We also compete in the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) as a Division I school.

Our team motto is “Women on a Mission”, and our mission as a women’s basketball program is simply to strive for excellence as we develop as Christian student-athletes. Beyond athletics, my background is in education, youth ministry and leadership development. I am passionate about people living day-to-day knowing and experiencing God’s goodness and faithfulness. In the context of a basketball team, this means that we play and compete with tenacity and discipline, that we form rich, lasting friendships and that we honor Christ on and off the court.

I am particularly interested in prospective student-athletes who are looking for a quality Christian liberal arts education and an opportunity to play basketball and take their game to the next level. I view coaching basketball and serving as a role model for our players a ministry. I am committed to encouraging our student-athletes in their relationship with Jesus Christ as well as leading them as they discover their God-given gifts and develop their talents.
