Waslewski Named NCCAA Player of the Week

WILMORE, Ky. - Miriam Waslewski was named NCCAA National Women’s Tennis Player of the Week on Tuesday.  The sophomore won both of her singles and doubles matches on the week. 

At #4 singles vs. Brescia she won 6-2, 6-0, and at #4 singles vs. St. Louis Pharmacy she won 6-0, 6-0.  At #2 doubles vs. Brescia she paired with Sarah Marshall for the first time this year and won 9-7 and at #2 doubles vs. St. Louis Pharmacy she won 8-2.  Miriam is 13-1 in singles this fall and 11-3 in doubles.   In her two years she has a remarkable record of 34-2-1 in singles competition and is 28-6-1 in doubles.
