Miller Signs Three to Women's Tennis Team

WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury women’s tennis coach Jarred Miller has announced the signing of three players for the 2011-12 season.  The Eagles set a school record with 18 victories in the 2010-11 season.

Miller has added Madison Durr (Homeschool/Jackson, Miss.), Izzy Howell (West Jessamine/Nicholasville, Ky.) and Kara Kaneko (Zion-Benton Township/Winthrop Harbor, Ill.).  Durr is the younger sister of junior tennis player Morgan Amis.  Howell joins her brother, Curran, in the Eagles tennis program.  Howell played for three years at West Jessamine Howell, playing in the top spot as a freshman and the second position in her sophomore and junior seasons.  Kaneko played two years at Zion-Benton Township earning North Suburban Conference All-Academic honors.
