Thomas to Swim for Eagles

Cali Thomas has signed to join Coach Dorothy Kempf at Asbury starting in the fall of 2010.Wilmore, Ky. – Asbury University swim Coach Dorothy Kempf has announced the signing of Cali Thomas for the 2010-11 season.  Thomas is a distance freestyler and backstroker from Farmersville, Ohio. 

Thomas spent four years swimming for Valley View High School under Don Hurley.  During her time as a Spartan she set six individual and was part of two relay school records and qualified for districts every year.  Thomas also placed all-league in at least one event every year.

Thomas also swam for the Middletown Manta Rays Club team based out of Middletown, Ohio.  As part of that team, Thomas broke seven individual records and one relay record.  She placed seventh in the mile at AA’s in 2009.
