Swimming and Diving gears up for Centre meet on Saturday
Asbury looks to improve upon a third-place finish at the Colonel Classic two weeks ago when they travel back to Danville to take on Centre and Union College in a tri-meet this Saturday.
The women finished third out of seven schools with 345 points while the men had a similar third-place finish out of six schools with 313.5 points. Both squads finished behind host Centre and the University of the Cumberlands.
Asbury finished with 14, top-3 placements in 38 individual disciplines. The Eagles registered first-place finishes in the men's 200 freestyle by Matt Hood in a time of 1:47.30. The other first-place was Abigail Sterneman in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:35.67.
Saturday's meet is set for 1:00 p.m., results will be posted as they are received.
