Season Ends in Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Asbury women’s soccer will not reach the KIAC Tournament finals for the first time since 2005 after suffering a 1-0 loss to Carlow on Tuesday evening. The Eagles finish the season 5-12-1.
Asbury took 11 shots in the match and hit the post but were unable to get the ball across the goal line. The Eagles also lost 1-0 at Carlow during the regular season. Carlow was undefeated in conference play in their first season in the KIAC and will play fellow newcomer Point Park on Saturday for the KIAC Tournament title and a berth to the NAIA National Tournament.
