Eagles Fall in Season Opener to Mighty Spring Arbor
SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The tenth-ranked Lady Cougars from Spring Arbor University were too much for the Eagles in their season opener, falling 4-0.
Asbury (0-1) registered only one shot in the game, taken by Andrea Hasik. Spring Arbor scored two goals in each half as Megan Wegener scored twice. The young Eagle team started three freshmen and three sophomores against Spring Arbor (1-0-1).
The Eagles will play their home opener on Tuesday against Campbellsville at 8 pm. That match will begin as soon as the men’s game against Taylor finishes.
