Hooper Named KIAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
BEREA, Ky. – Asbury University freshman Kaitlyn Hooper was named the KIAC women’s soccer offensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 31st. Asbury finished the week with a 2-0 record after defeating Midway College 2-0 and University of the Cumberlands 3-2.
Hooper scored the game tying and game winning goals against University of the Cumberlands. The game winning goal was scored in overtime. This was the first multi-goal effort of her short career. Asbury is currently10-7 overall with a 4-0 conference record. They earned their sixth consecutive KIAC regular season championship. They will return to action on November 1st when they host Georgetown College at 7 p.m.
