Batey's Two Goals Leads Eagles Past Lions
WILMORE, Ky. – The Asbury offense came alive against Bryan College on Saturday night, winning 3-0, but dominating the game from the beginning. The Eagles fired 26 shots, 12 on target, the Lions only were able to get three shots off.
Rebecca Batey recorded her first multi-goal game of the season and the 10th of her career. Batey’s first came in the 10th minute as Kaitlyn Hooper found her in the box and Batey finished past keeper Stephanie Gagnon. Batey would add her second goal early in the second half as Meredith Ury found her in the box again, this time beating Gagnon to the right side.
