Russell named Scholar-Athlete

WILMORE, KY. – Bethany Russell was named a 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete as announced by the association.  A senior from Florence, Ky. Russell appeared in and started all 20 games for the Eagles this season.

Russell will graduate in May after majoring in Ministry.  During her four year career Russell appeared in 77 games and scored 22 goals.  This year marked her highest single-season output with 10. 

To be eligible for the Daktroincs-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award student-athletes must be either a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
