Patriots Down Eagles 2-1

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Asbury suffered their third straight loss on Tuesday afternoon, 2-1 at the hands of University of the Cumberlands.  The Eagles drop to 2-11 on the year and the Patriots improve to 5-5-2.

Jessica Batey scored her second goal of the season in the second half for the Eagles.  Cumberlands took a 2-0 lead into halftime.  Ten of Asbury’s 11 shots came after the break while the Patriots only took four in the second half.  Maegan Rogers made four saves in goal for the Eagles.

Asbury will be at home on Saturday October 16th at 12:30 pm against Union University.
