Jackson Joins Eagles

Wilmore, Ky. - Women's Soccer Head Coach Paul Nesselroade has announced the signing of Casey Jackson for 2010.  Jackson played for Lexington Christian Academy for four years, her senior year for coach Steve Fugmann.

A midfielder in high school Coach Nesselroade expects her to compete for immediate playing time as a defensive or defensive midfield position.  Jackson was part of a solid program at LCA where they won All "A" Regionals from 2007-2009.  The Eagles were also All "A" State Finalists from 2007-2009 and Jackson was named to the All "A" Tournament team in 2008 and 2009.  He team was Bluegrass State Champions in 2007 and runners-up in 2008. 

Jackson joins Victoria Thompson who has already committed and signed with the Eagles.  Asbury has won four straight conference regular and tournament championships and competed in the NAIA National Tournament for the first time in school history in 2009.
