Sieberkrob Signs With Eagles

Asbury College Athletics is pleased to announce the signing of Erin Sieberkrob to play soccer for Coach Paul Nesselroade.  Sieberkrob is a local product from East Jessamine High School in Nicholasville and played club soccer for Bluegrass Soccer Club in Versailles.  

Sieberkrob has played a variety of positions but will be looked to help strengthen the back line for the Eagles.  She was a four year starter for East Jessamine and earned 2nd Team All-Region and 1st Team All-Academic honors as a senior.  Sieberkrob helped lead East to a District Runner-up in 2007 and also led Bluegrass Soccer Club to the championship in the Kick in the Bluegrass Tournament.

Coach Nesselroade had this to say about Erin, "Erin is a very strong and disciplined defender who is not knocked off the ball very easily.  She makes her presence felt when she is marking.  She is a very hard worker and will be a great addition to the team and a perfect fit with Asbury College.  She will join a strong incoming class that will have a dramatic effect on the development of our program.  I'm very excited to add Erin to our roster for next year.
