Eagles Fall in NCCAA Opener

Kissimmee, FL---The Asbury College women's soccer team dropped their first game in the NCCAA National Tournament to Trinity International 6-1. The third seeded Trojans were too much offensively for the sixth seeded Eagles, as TIU put in three goals in the first 15 minutes.

Asbury (12-9-1) would score their lone goal in the 16^th minute as junior Carol Fogler would score unassisted. Asbury would only manage five shots, as the Trojans put up 18. Asbury will return to action tomorrow Thursday December 4^th at 12 pm against #7 Southern Wesleyan who lost to the #2 seed Olivet Nazarene 2-0 earlier on Tuesday.
