Eagles Fall in Fifth Place Match

Kissimmee, FL---The Asbury College women's soccer team fell to Mount Vernon Nazarene University in the 5th place match at the NCCAA Nationals on Saturday December 6, 2-0.

Asbury (13-10-1) finish the season as the 6th place team in the NCCAA.  The Eagles picked up their first ever win at nationals with a 1-0 victory over Southern Wesleyan in the second round Thursday December 4th.  Asbury also finishes as the NCCAA Mid-East Region Champion after they defeated Campbellsville University 7-2 on November 18th.

Asbury won their third straight KIAC Regular Season and Tournament titles after finishing 3-1 in the conference and defeating Midway 7-0 and Mountain State 2-0 in the KIAC Tournament.
