Asbury defeated Campbellsville 7-2 for the NCCAA Mid-East Title on Tuesday.

Asbury (12-8-1) fell behind early giving up a goal in the 17th minute.  The Eagles would rally for five straight goals, two coming from Bethany Russell.  Russell scored the equalizer minutes after the Tigers' first goal when Jessica Young sent a cross from the left side that Russell headed into the net.  Miranda Wiley added her first goal of the match after beating a defender after a pass from Carol Fogler.  That would put the Eagles up for good.

Asbury kept adding to their total in the first half with goals from Katie Crocker, assist to Young, Russell added her second of the day, and Young got one of her own on an assist from Fogler.  Wiley would add two more in the second half, one on an assist from Ashley Amburgy, for the final tally.

When pairings and times are announced for the NCCAA National Tournament we will pass along that information.
