Eagles Claim 3rd Straight KIAC Tournament
Bluefield, VA---The Asbury College women's soccer team claimed their third straight KIAC Tournament Championship with a 2-0 victory over Mountain State on Saturday. The

Eagles advanced to the championship game with a 7-0 victory over Midway on Friday night.
Asbury (11-8-1) got goals from Jessica Young and Ashley Amburgy in the championship game. Keeper Maegan Rogers didn't have to do much as only one shot was put on goal by the Cougars.
The Eagles lost to Midway earlier in the season 1-0, their first conference loss since 2005. Asbury has now won three straight matches overall and has outscored their opponents 12-0 in those contests.
Asbury will not move forward in the NAIA post-season due to extensive travel, but will compete in the NCCAA Tournament. The Eagles will match up with Campbellsville for the Mid-East Region title. The winner of that match will move to the National Tournament in Florida.
