Miranda Wiley KIAC Player of the Week for 9/8-9/14

Wilmore, KY--- Asbury College junior forward Miranda Wiley was named offensive player of the week for women's soccer by the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Wiley, from Ontario, Canada, scored two goals, both game winners, during the week of September 8th-14th. She scored the first goal in a 4-0 win over conference foe Berea September 9. Wiley also scored the only goal in a 1-0 double overtime win on the road against Bryan College Saturday September 13. Her goal came with only 30 seconds left in the extra session.

Wiley was the first Asbury College player named to the NAIA All-Region XII team last year as a sophomore when she led the Eagles with 10 goals scored. After two seasons Wiley was already the all-time leading goal scorer with 32 goals scored, adding to her total this year she is up to 34 career goals scored.
