Eagles Shutout on the Road

Upland, IN--- The Asbury College women's soccer team fell to Taylor University Saturday September 20th 2-0.  The Eagles gave up a hard luck goal in the 60th minute when Allison Guion of Taylor stole a pass from Asbury keeper Maegan Rogers and crossed it to Marissa Ku for the goal.

Taylor (5-2) would add their second goal late in the match when Asbury (3-5) was trying desperately for an equalizer.  The Eagles were shutout for the third time this season and also snapped a three game winning streak.  

Asbury returns to action Monday September 22nd when they host NCAA II Lincoln Memorial at 7 pm.
