Women's Soccer falters at NAIA Regionals
Asbury dropped their opening round game of the NAIA Region XII Tournament to Covenant (Ga.), 5-1 in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Friday. Covenant controlled play, allowing only four Eagle shots and a single shot on goal. Sophomore Ashley Amburgy registered the Eagles only goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 77th minute.
The loss concludes Asbury's season with an 11-10 record, repeating as KIAC regular season and tournament champions.
