Women's Soccer ends regular season at .500
Asbury concluded their 2007 regular season with a flourish, taking down conference foe, Brescia to secure the Eagles second-straight KIAC regular season championship and earn the top seed in the conference tournament on Wednesday. They then righted their season at .500 (9-9) with a 2-0 win over Milligan College on Senior Night, Saturday.
Sophomore Miranda Wiley and freshman Katie Crocker paced the Eagles during the week with standout performances. Wiley's recorded three goals over the two game set, both game winners while Crocker registered one goal against Brescia and three assists in the two games.
The women will play in the KIAC Tournament against the number four seed, Mountain State. Game time is slated for 11:00 a.m. CT in Owensboro. If successful, the Eagles would advance to the championship game on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. CT.
