Mendelson earns multiple Player of the Week awards

Freshman forward Jennifer Mendelson was named Player of the Week for September 3-9 by the NAIA Region XII and the KIAC, home conference of the Eagles. Mendelson scored a goal in each of Asbury's wins for the week against Oakland City, 2-0 last Thursday and against Bryan (Tenn.) College in a 3-1 win on Saturday. For the season, Mendelson has registered five goals in five games as well as an assist against NCAA school, Thomas More (Ky.) College in a 4-2 defeat.
