Barbee Named KIAC Player of the Week

BEREA, Ky. - Asbury University senior Trenia Barbee was named the KIAC women’s basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 12^th.

Asbury finished the week 3-0 after sweeping three games in the Super 8 Classic hosted by Kentucky Christian.  The Eagles defeated Southeastern (Fla.) 73-56, Cincinnati-Clermont 74-53 and Kentucky Christian 83-73. For the week, Barbee averaged 20.3 points, 9 rebounds and 3.7 assists. She recorded two double-doubles as well. The senior guard currently ranks 7^th in NAIA points per game (23) and 19^th in steals per game (3.8). The Eagles are currently 4-2 overall. They will return to action on November 16^th for the Pritchett/Zweifel Classic where they will host Point University and Cincinnati-Clermont.
