GRAYSON, Ky. – Asbury women’s basketball defeated Kentucky Christian 83-73 to finish the Super 8 Classic a perfect 3-0. The Eagles are now 4-2 on the season while the Lady Knights fall to 2-5.
Trenia Barbee scored all 22 of her points in the first half and Laura Carroll scored 15 of her 23 in the second half as the Eagles sweep the Super 8 Classic for the second time in as many trips. They last competed in the 2010 rendition.
