Gray Named KIAC Player of the Week

BEREA, Ky. – Asbury University senior Ellen Gray was named the KIAC women’s basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 14th. In a pair of games last week, Gray averaged 19.5 points while shooting 54.5 percent from the field (12-of-22) and 64.7 percent behind the arc (11-of-17).

Gray scored 19 points in an 80-75 loss to Trinity Christian and tallied 20 points in a 99-83 Asbury win over Moody Bible Institute. She currently ranks 10th in the NAIA in three-point field goal percentage at 50%.

The Eagles will return to action on November 15th when they host Kentucky Christian University.
