Barbee Takes Home KIAC Honors

BEREA, Ky. - Asbury University junior Trenia Barbee was named the KIAC women’s basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 21st.   The Eagles won two of their four games last week and are 4-5 on the season.

 For the week, Barbee averaged 14.8 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 2.5 steals. The junior guard connected on 48.6 percent of her field goal attempts (17-of-35). She scored a career high 27 points in an 88-83 loss to Kentucky Christian University. She contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds in an 83-53 victory against Point University. Barbee recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds in a 68-33 win over Principia College.

The Eagles will return to action on November 29th when they travel to the University of Cincinnati-Clermont.
