Women's Basketball Schedule Released

WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury women’s basketball coach Bart Flener has released his schedule for 2011-12.  Asbury will play 16 games at home and will host three separate classics.  They open the season on the road for the seventh straight year as they travel to St. Catharine College on October 28^th.

Asbury will play two exhibition games against NCAA Division I schools, first at Morehead State on November 7^th and then on January 3^rd will take on Utah State University in Ogden, Utah.  The Eagles will be finishing a mission trip in Arizona and will drive up to play the Aggies.

The Eagles will host three classics the first being the Asbury Classic from November 17^th-19^th featuring Point University, Tennessee Wesleyan College, Principia College and Georgetown College.  They will host the Christian College Classic where they’ll play Rochester College and Kentucky Christian University on December 2^nd-3^rd and will also host the Zweifel/Pritchett Classic on December 9^th-10^th.

Asbury will head to the Berea Classic on November 4^th-5^th and to the Moody Bible College Classic on November 11^th-12^th. 

The Eagles will open KIAC action on January 12^th at Midway and will open up the home portion of conference action two days later when they host Indiana Southeast.  The season will come to a close on February 14^th as they host Alice Lloyd.
