Eagles fall to Grenadiers in second half
NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Asbury’s women couldn’t hold on to a six point halftime lead and dropped their second straight, 56-49 to Indiana Southeast. IUS remains unbeaten in eight conference games while the Eagles fall to 2-7 in KIAC action.

IUS shot 48% in the second half while the Eagles shot only 25%. For the game both teams shot poorly, Asbury at 32% and IUS at 33% overall. The Grenadiers would push their lead up to 11 with just under seven minutes left in the game.
Asbury would cut the lead back down to three on two occasions, the final time coming with a minute left. But IUS would quickly score five straight and would hit free throws down the stretch to preserve the victory.
