Women's basketball falls to St. Mary

Shooting woes continue to plague the Eagles as they fell at St. Mary's of the Woods College, 82-70 on Thursday night. While improving from Tuesday's game at IUS, the Eagles still only shot 35.8 percent from the field and committed 26 turnovers.

Anna Stephenson led Asbury with 23 points and 11 rebounds with Lindsey Wood and Morgan Freeman joining her in double figures with 13 and 10 points respectively. The loss puts the Eagles at 6-9 on the season, 0-1 in conference play. Asbury returns to action tonight against Kentucky Christian, looking to avoid an early-season loss to the Knights. Tip off is set at 7:00 p.m.
