Women's Basketball drops conference opener to Berea, 79-55

Asbury was held to five points down the stretch watching a 57-50 score turn into the final margin against the defending conference champion Lady Mountaineers. Lindsey Wood led the way with 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field. The tale of the game was the 38 Eagle turnovers allowing Berea 28 more shots. The loss drops Asbury to 5-5 on the year, 0-1 in conference. The Eagles look to rebound at Spalding University tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Louisville.
