Women fall to Alice Lloyd in KIAC Tournament, 76-59

Asbury put up a valiant fight, but fatigue and turnovers resulted in a 76-59 loss against top-seeded Alice Lloyd. Lindsey Wood led the Eagles with 15 points and 11 rebounds as Asbury was within three points at 56-53 before a 14-0 run would all hopes.

The loss ends the Asbury season at 13-14 on the year. Lindsey Wood finished the season as the point leader for the Eagles, averaging 13.6 points per game. Anna Stephenson led the team in rebounding, averaging 7.7 boards per game.

The Eagles loss closed careers for seniors Erica Emler (6.7 ppg), Jamie Keller (7.9 ppg & 6.5 rpg), and Stephanie Keeley (1.2 ppg).
