Turnovers doom Women's Basketball at Alice Lloyd

Twenty-eight Asbury turnovers led to easy baskets for Alice Lloyd as they would turn a close, five-point game at halftime into a 20-point win, 81-61. Anna Stephenson led the way for the Eagles with 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field, 8-of-13 from the line. Stephenson also led the team in rebounding with nine. The tale of the second half would be the Eagles inability to maintain their shooting touch from the first half, shooting 26.9% (7-26) after the break compared to 52.0% (13-25) beforehand.

The loss drops the team to 10-7 on the season, 2-3 in conference play. The Eagles will travel to New Albany, Ind., on Thursday to take on Indiana-Southeast. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
