Four in double figures push women past UC-Clermont

Asbury completed a season sweep over UC-Clermont, winning on the road on Monday, 76-55. Four Eagle players ended up in double figures, highlighted by Lindsey Wood's 15 points. Brittany Abbott contributed 13, Anna Stephenson 12, and Jenny Bunge off the bench with 10. Stephenson also recorded 11 rebounds for her sixth double-double on the year. The Eagles controlled the game, outshooting their opponent 45.7% (32-70) to 29.0% (18-62). When the shots didn't fall the team also cleaned the glass, holding a 50-34 rebounding advantage.

The win puts Asbury at 11-9 overall. The Eagles step back into conference play by hosting Berea College on Thursday night. The tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
