Tina Marye

Tina Marye begins her first year as an assistant coach in 2010 after four years as a member of the Eagles’ squad.  Marye has spent the past three years as a coach on the club level with Bluegrass Region Volleyball Club and Thoroughbred Elite Volleyball Club.

As a member of the Eagles, Marye helped lead the team to their first NAIA National Tournament appearance in 2008, as well as the KIAC regular and postseason titles.  As a middle blocker Marye led the team with 122 blocks and was third in kills with 260.  She led the team in blocks in each of her final three years and finished with 397 for her career, she also registered 1,012 career kills.

Prior to joining Asbury, Marye was a standout player for Tates Creek High School in Lexington, Ky.  As a senior she helped lead the Commodores to the KHSAA State Tournament for the first time in school history, making it to the semi-finals. 

Marye graduated from Asbury in May 2010 with a B.A. in Pre-Physical Therapy.
