Player of the Week Honors Go to Wolter and Hoffa
BEREA, Ky. - For the second week in a row, Lizzie Hoffa has been tabbed as a KIAC player of the week in the KIAC. Catherine Wolter garners her first honors this season.

Lizzie Hoffa, Asbury University – Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
5-5 Sophomore – Walton, KY
Asbury University sophomore Lizzie Hoffa was named the KIAC women’s soccer defensive player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 4th. This is her second player of the week award of the season. The Eagles defeated Cincinnati Christian University 1-0 in their only contest last week. Hoffa recorded her fifth shutout which helped Asbury secure an undefeated season in conference play. They improved to 9-8 overall and 6-0 in the KIAC. They will return to action on November 5th when they host Cincinnati Christina in the KIAC Women’s Soccer Tournament.
Catherine Wolter, Asbury University – Volleyball Player of the Week
6-0 Senior – Huntersville, NC
Asbury University senior Catherine Wolter was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, November 4th. Asbury finished the week 2-0 after defeating Midway College 3-0 and Indiana University Kokomo 3-1. Wolter led the Eagles in kills for the week. She recorded 10 against Midway and 13 against IU Kokomo. She finished with a .488 attack percentage for the week. Their win against IU Kokomo secured the Eagles a spot in the national tournament. The Eagles improved to 31-7 overall and 10-1 in conference play. They will return to action on November 4th when they travel to Brescia University.
