Downs Named KIAC Player of the Week

BEREA, Ky. – Asbury University sophomore Alyssa Downs was named the KIAC volleyball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, October 22^nd. Asbury finished the week 3-0 after defeating Cincinnati Christian University (3-0), Bethel University (3-0), and Kentucky State University (3-0).

Downs led the Eagles with 29 kills on the week and hit .600. She only committed two attack errors in 45 attempts. Asbury is currently 21-9 overall and 4-3 in conference play. Asbury defeated Midway on Monday night 3-0.  They will return to action on October 24^th when they travel to Indiana University East.
