Ibold Earns KIAC Honors
BEREA, Ky. – Asbury University senior middle blocker Lindsay Ibold was named KIAC volleyball player of the week by the KIAC office on Monday, September 5th. Ibold racked up 51 kills in helping the Eagles to a 5-0 mark on the week.
Ibold currently ranks 3rd in the NAIA in hitting percentage (.470) after a week of hitting .603 in 15 sets. She had four matches of double-digit kills including a week-high of 12 against KIAC foe Mountain State on Saturday. Ibold also totaled 10 blocks on the week and is currently 17th in the NAIA in total blocks with 38.
Asbury returns to the court on Tuesday with two matches in Owensboro against Brescia and Kentucky Wesleyan.
