Streak Snapped, Eagles Split
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Asbury’s 18 game winning was snapped on Saturday by Spring Hill College, but the Eagles rebounded to beat Faulkner to finish the Faulkner Invitational 3-1. Both matches were three set affairs with SHC winning 25-18, 29-27, 25-13 and Asbury winning the second match 25-19, 25-16, 25-21.
Asbury (21-2) suffered their first loss since their home opener against Union College (Ky.) all the way back on September 2nd. Spring Hill College moves to 18-2 with the win and Faulkner drops to 11-13. The Eagles were led by Brittney Rader’s 11 kills against Faulkner.

The Eagles will return home to host Centre College on Tuesday October 12th at 7:00 pm.
