Eagles' Streak Hits 16

WILMORE, Ky. – The winning streak continues to grow as they Eagles hit 16 in a row on Wednesday night against St. Catharine College.  Asbury won in three sets for the 11th time this year, 25-8, 25-9, 25-13.

Asbury (18-1) was led once again by sophomore Brittney Rader.  Rader racked up eight kills and no errors in 14 attempts.  The Eagles on the night had only four errors and hit .382 for the match.  The second set saw the Eagles set a team best attack percentage of .667 with 13 kills and one error in 18 attempts.

Mackenzie Burke racked up 19 assists, Asbury only had 30 kills on the night.  The Eagles took advantage of  15 errors and a Patriots attack percentage of -.027.  Hannah Wheeler led the Eagles with 10 of the team’s 44 digs. 

Asbury will head to Montgomery, Ala. to take part in the Faulkner University Invitational on Friday and Saturday October 8th and 9th.
