History Made in Owensboro

OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Asbury volleyball team has done something that no other team in school history has done, start the season 11-1.  The Eagles defeated Brescia University 25-10, 25-8, 25-10 on Thursday night for their ninth straight win.

Allison Rehner and Lindsay Ibold led the team with 11 kills and Mackenzie Burke added 19 assists.  Asbury continues to use their depth to their advantage as four different players have led the team in kills this year.  The Eagles got off to a tremendous start with 14 kills on 28 attacks in the first set.  Overall their attack percentage for the match was an impressive .397.   

Asbury's scheduled tri-match on Saturday has been changed to one match at 12:00 pm against Kentucky State.
