Eagles Make Quick Work of Eutectics

Wilmore, KY – Asbury made quick work of St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Saturday, defeating the Eutectics in three short games.  The Eagles opened up KIAC action with a win for only the second time in the past six years.

Asbury (3-1, 1-0 KIAC) controlled the attack from the beginning of the match and took the first set 25-15.  The Eutectics started the second set with a 5-1 run but the Eagles quickly turned the tide and took the set 25-9.  Asbury took the second set 25-10.

Asbury will hit the road this week as they travel to Indiana Southeast in a non-KIAC match on Wednesday September 8th at 7:00 pm.
