Emily Andrews goes for the kill against two Pikeville defenders.Wilmore, KY – Asbury had no trouble in sweeping their first home match of the season, defeating Mountain State 3-0 before doing the same against Pikeville. Five Eagles totaled four kills or more and Allison Rehner led the team for the second straight match with six. Lauren Budde and Catherine Wolter tallied five each as Brittney Rader and Lindsay Ibold added four a piece. Hannah Wheeler led the defense with 14 digs.

In the second match Asbury jumped out to a big lead and never looked back, winning in straight sets 25-9, 25-17, 25-7. Catherine Wolter led the way with 11 kills in 13 attempts. The Eagles had an attack percentage of .457 for the match. Lauren Budde added seven kills and Dena Buse chipped in with six.
