Adkison Takes Home Another Award

Lexington, KY---The American Volleyball Coaches of America announced their postseason awards, and Asbury senior outside hitter Ellen Adkison (Bolivar, MO) was named to the Northeast Region Team. Adkison was the only member of the KIAC to receive this recognition. Adkison had a superb season, finishing with 437 kills, 534 digs, 42 service aces, and 40 total blocks. Adkison has already been named to the All-KIAC Team and was named KIAC Player of the Year.

For her career Adkison ranks first in games and matches played, total attacks, and digs. She is second all-time in kills with 1,605, finishing only 18 shy of Sarah Fowler's school record. Adkison is also fourth all-time in service aces, third in block assists, and fifth in both solo blocks and total blocks.
