Volleyball Falls to 19th Ranked Tigers

Campbellsville, KY---The Asbury College volleyball team fell on the road Monday September 22 at #19 Campbellsville 3-0.  The Eagles gave the Tigers a fight with game scores of 26-24, 27-25, 25-18.  

Junior middle hitter Christina Mayre led Asbury (11-5) with 10 kills and no attack errors.  Mayre also had three block assists, which led the team.  Sophomore outside hitter Lauren Budde had seven kills and only one error continuing her hot stretch.  Sophomore setter Emily Andrews continues to lead t he team in assists with 19 against Campbellsville, junior Julia Armstrong added 10.

The Eagles will travel to Cincinnati for a tournament at the College of Mount St. Joseph Thursday September 25th and Friday September 26th.  Opponents and times are unknown at this time.  Asbury's next home match will be homecoming week against Brescia Thursday October  2nd.
