Volleyball sends IU-East to its first loss
Junior Ellen Adkison paced the Eagles with 20 kills and 19 digs sending IU-East to its first loss on the season, 30-23, 23-30, 30-28, 31-29. Christina Marye also placed in double-digits with 12 kills while tallying 9 total blocks, 5 solos. Jenelle McClean and Julia Armstrong continue to pose a double threat on assists, leading the Eagles with 28 and 21 assists for the match respectively.
The win puts Asbury at 7-13 overall, 2-1 in the KIAC as they will host Kentucky State on Tuesday evening at the Luce Center. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
